About the Industry

No problems, everyone must start somewhere! The Watercrew skills section outlines a number of qualifications, skills and experiences not directly related to the Marine Industry so please register and complete your profile as soon as possible. There are entry level jobs often advertised on the site!

How it Works

1. REGISTER - It's simple and FREE, simply click on the "Register Now" button here or in the top right hand corner of this page.

2. CREATE YOUR PROFILE - Follow the prompts to create your profile and maintain a record of your job type preferences, qualifications, experience, work history, resume, referees etc. This is a great place to store and update all of your employment information and track your job applications online.

3. TICK YOUR SKILLS - To complete your profile you will come accross the "Skills" section. This is the most important section for you to complete so the Watercrew system works best for you. The skills are broken into categories so they are easy to find. Simply tick all the the qualifications, skills and experience you have and Watercrew’s online SKILL MATCH function will then automatically send you an email with any new jobs listed that match your profile.

4. APPLY - Once you receive a new job alert via email, you can check out more details about the job and apply direct to the employer through the Watercrew system. If you choose to "Apply for Job", the employer will then have access to your profile including your resume and referees. You no longer need to waste time gathering your information, printing your letters and resume or sending this information to them, as the Watercrew system automatically does this for you!

5. INTERVIEW - The potential employer will then contact you directly for more information or to arrange an interview. This system cuts out any middle-men which allows you and the employer to communicate directly so you can be certain you have found the perfect job match. There are no extra fees or commissions, making job searching in the marine industry FINALLY easy and affordable!
