Stewardess / Deckhand

Junior Stewardess / Deckhand for a 125ft Luxury charter yacht.

This position in a junior or trainee position on board a luxury charter vessel. We seek a person who is keen to launch a career in luxury boating and is keen to learn everything about working on board these types of vessels, both inside and out.

The position includes;

- Bar and food service

- Interior detailing and cleaning

- Assisting the chef

- Deck work

- Detailing and cleaning outdoors

Outboard Marine Mechanic (qualified)

Gladstone Marine Centre, located in Central Queensland, has a current vacancy for a qualified Outboard Mechanic.

Experience with Yamaha, Honda and Mercruiser engines would be an advantage.
Excellent hourly rate is on offer, as well as productively incentive bonuses.
This is a full time position and consideration will be given towards relocation expenses if required.

Casual Deckhand

A 35m private motor yacht requires an experienced casual deckhand.

The successfull applicant will be required for two to six days a week for washdowns, detailing duties and for the operation of medium to large tenders.

They must be available to work weekends and public holidays and should be prepared to spend occasional nights onboard.

The vessel is Sydney based.

Full Time Engineer (Commencing April 2010)

A 35m private motor yacht with a busy schedule requires an experienced and suitably qualified full-time engineer to join our crew of five.

The successful candidate will be a mature, practical, hands-on individual with a sound understanding of a diverse range of systems. They must be willing to participate in a four week (paid) handover with the current engineer.

The vessel is a Sydney based motor yacht. It travels extensively on the east coast of Australia for six to eight months of the year.
