Sales & Marketing Manager

We are seeking a mature, self-motivated, positive self starter with a proven marketing and sales (minimum 20 years experience) in the marine diving/tourism industry. Applicants will need successful experience in a marketing and senior sales supervisory/management role, enthusiasm, drive, and a genuine love of the Great Barrier Reef and those who come to experience it.

- You will take charge of the sales team, liaising with, coordinating, and strengthening relationships with our sales partners
- You will have proven ability in managing a diverse, multicultural team to deliver outstanding sales team results
- You will have experience in dealing with senior management and at the strategic decision making level.
- You will have a proven track record in initiating new business and starting new business ventures in the marine diving/tourism industry that appeal to the Japanese market
- You will take the lead in devising the sales and marketing strategy for our Group of companies.
- You will have excellent negotiation skills to assist the CEO in negotiation of contracts/agreements in a multicultural environment, especially with Japanese stakeholders
- You will have extensive senior marketing and management experience working for a helmet-diving operation that serves international guests
- You will have extensive senior experience in marine diving operations, along with high level qualifications in recreational SCUBA Diving, Helmet Diving, and/or commercial boating
- You will have proven, high level Japanese language and/or cultural skills
- You will report to the CEO.
