Just a quick note to thank you very much for helping me find our newest employee.

It has not been easy finding an experienced driver for our 300 & 600 tonne marine sling lifters and I wasted quite a bit of money advertising on mainstream job find websites and in the local and Gold Coast papers. Within a week of advertising I had three very qualified applicants all with operator experience and marine industry backgrounds.

Before I discovered Watercrew I was unsure how to find a job that suited my qualifications and career goals. I registered with Watercrew and landed a job that is not only exactly what I was looking for but has room to grow and develop my skills in the industry. I am working in the Tourism Industry onboard a 60ft sailing sloop taking people sailing through the Whitsundays Islands. I am also a deckhand on a 107ft huon pine motor cruiser which has twin motors and complex generators systems which I am learning more about each day.

I have been able to start my Master V, MED 2 and seatime log book so I can advance in the Marine Industry. I am loving my job and am enjoying learning from some great skippers.
