The problem
Office glass goes off faster than glass on a house and it shows sooner, because there is more of it and all of it is vertical and unshaded. Traffic film off a busy road settles on the face and binds there, and an ordinary wash leaves the haze behind rather than taking it off.
What we did
Reached from the ground with water-fed telescopic poles rather than a lift or a rope. Purified water carries nothing that can dry on the pane, so the glass is brushed and left to dry without a squeegee, and no part of the ground had to be closed for it.
