Roof cleaning is surface work — the tiles or sheets themselves. Gutter cleaning clears the channels and downpipes that carry the water away. Different jobs, different prices, and most homes need both eventually.

How the three jobs fit together
They solve different problems, and they're easy to mix up. Roof washing lifts dirt and weathering off the surface. Moss treatment kills growth that's taken root in it. Gutter work has nothing to do with the roof face at all — it keeps water moving off the property. Book the wrong one, and that's usually why people feel they paid for nothing.
Order matters more than people expect
Anything you do to the roof face ends up in the gutters, so the gutters go last when both are booked. Do it the other way round and the channels fill again by that afternoon. When the whole exterior is being cleaned, the roof sits at the top of that order for the same reason — and the paving sits at the bottom.
What we won't tell you to buy
Roofs in this city age from salt drift, tannin runoff and the swing between hot days and cold nights. That wears the surface down, and cleaning slows it. It doesn't reverse it — no cleaning job re-seals or restores a roof. Anyone promising that is describing a different trade to ours, and one that needs its own licence.
