Pre-Sale House Wash and Windows — Reserve Road, Beaumaris
A full pre-sale clean on a house on Reserve Road, Beaumaris, on the northern edge of the suburb. Walls, glass, balustrades and skylights, all of it in one day before the property went to market. A house being prepared for sale is not cleaned surface by surface. It is cleaned in the order that stops any of it being done twice, and all of it has to be right on the same day, because the photographer comes once.

The problem
Pre-sale work is deadline work. The listing photographs are booked, the first open follows that weekend, and a house that is clean in four places and grubby in the fifth reads as neglected in the one photograph a buyer looks at longest.
What we did
Walls first, glass afterwards, and the glass nobody thinks about last. Skylights and balustrades are the two surfaces owners forget and buyers notice, because both get looked at from directly underneath or straight through rather than from the footpath.
