Service area
Brighton sits close enough to the bay that salt carries inland on the south-westerlies, and it shows up on glass and on powder-coated frames as a haze that ordinary washing leaves behind. The older streets off New Street and Church Street are dense with mature elms and gums, so gutters on two-storey rendered homes fill faster here than they do further inland — twice a year rather than once. Access is the other local factor: heritage frontages, tight side setbacks and paved driveways that mark easily. We work off ladders and water-fed poles rather than dragging equipment across bluestone, and we mat every surface we stand on.
